I’m hitting the ground running in 2016, and no, I’m not making the traditional new year’s resolutions. I’m making goals for my blog and posting it so that you all keep me accountable!
This past year was hectic and life took me away from blogging for months at a time. But you all were patient and hung in there with me, and for that I am extremely grateful.
Things have since settled a bit, but my new normal is busy. I’m an attorney at a large law firm with an unpredictable schedule. I’m rarely home for dinner (let alone have time to cook – as you all know I have an entire section of this blog dedicated to food!) and I could easily be at work for 12 – 18 hours a day, and sometimes more. With my new reality in mind, I know that I have to scale back on my extra-curricular activities [play sad violin here] 🙁 .
However, I love this blog so I’m not giving up on it. BUUUUTTTTTT, I won’t be able to post as frequently as I would like. I’m aiming to publish three new posts a month. Yes, that’s it. That’s all I can probably manage, and it might still be a lofty goal.
But here is how I envision this working: D’aller Naturel is a lifestyle blog with three pretty distinct categories of interest. So, I’m going to publish one new post a month per category–“Go Natural”, “Go Healthy”, and “Go Happy”. Not to worry, I’ll be posting more frequently about related matters on my social media, particularly InstaGram, because these are quicker and gets to you relevant information on the areas you’re interested in. Be sure to follow me there as well!
