Water and I have a love-hate relationship. It is a destructive force, yet I can’t seem to stay from it . . . probably because it is also a calming presence.
I took this photo on a rather windy day, chasing down the perfect shot of this duck. I’m sure I looked like a lunatic to the passerby who had no clue what I was up to and then it happened–a moment of stillness–where the only thing shifting the water was this duck . . . blissfully living life . . . in perfect calm.
It is a stark difference from the rippled reflections of the featured image (below).
