The Naturally Redefined Natural Hair Expo

I have been invited to speak as a panelist at Delaware’s 3rd Annual Naturally Redefined Natural Hair & Holistic Health Expo on September 20, 2014 at Clayton Hall Conference Center in Newark, DE.  I, along with other bloggers/vloggers will be part of a panel discussing natural hair care.

I am truly excited for this event–not only because it’ll be my first speaking engagement in the natural hair community–but because it is slated to be quite the event.  Last year, Naturally Redefined had nearly 800 women of color in attendance to shop from multiple natural hair vendors, attend workshops, listen to panel discussions, watch the natural hair show competition, and indulge in VIP swag bags, live hair styling and photos.  There will even be some live “big chops” by natural hair stylists, so calling all you transitioners out there–this is the place to be!

If you live in the Mid-Atlantic Area or plan to be in the Mid-Atlantic area on September 20, make it a mini vacation and indulge in an event with women like you empowering each other.  Heck, even if you live as far north as New York, it’s just a short train ride down, so come down and join in on all the fun.  Plus, I’d love to meet you guys!

Don’t forget to purchase VIP tickets for access to the Pajama ‘N Puff Mixer after the expo at the Christiana Hilton starting at 8:00 p.m!  The hosts–Tywanda Howie and Akira Grenardo–some of your favorite bloggers/vloggers (i.e., me!) will be there.  I’ll also be at the Sunday brunch, the next morning at the Christiana Hilton.  Purchase your tickets here.

See the flyers below for more information and I hope to see you all there!

  1. Congratulations! This group also contacted me to attend but I am not able to (I’m so sad about that!). I saw your name on their flyer and thought “I know her!” Please post a recap so I can know how it went!
